Still in Recession
For the past 10 yrs. or so we have been relying on rising house prices and then borrowing against this to fuel the economy, without as a nation really producing anything.
Germany and France, "the power houses of Europe" are starting to pull out of recession, but then they produce things. what are we going to pull ourselves out with? We borrowed 16 billion in August, how much of this was wasted or went to the well entrenched fat cats that are still lining their pockets at the public's expense.
We are not going to have another housing boom to get us out of this mess, so it will take a complete rethink of how the country exists, or has the UK to become bankrupt before we all see sense.
